The gym puzzle

Good news: there is no puzzle in this gym. It’s a straight, open path to Mirskle with two trainers guarding the way:

  1. Walk in and follow the open path — you’ll run into Youngster Doobie first.
  2. Keep going east along the path to find Camper Liam.
  3. Walk to the end of the path — Mirskle is waiting.

🌫️ The fog

The whole gym is covered in fog, which lowers every Pokémon’s accuracy by 40% — yours included. If you keep missing, use a weather-changing move like Sandstorm or Hail to clear the fog away.

How to beat Mirskle

⚔️ Strategy

  • Bring Fire, Flying or Steel types. His whole team is weak to at least one of these. Two easy catches: Pikipek (Flying, Route 2) and Snorunt (Ice, Route 1).
  • Take out Gloom first. It’s the most annoying one — it heals with Mega Drain and poisons you with Poison Powder and Acid.
  • Sniff the Rose Incense. Before the battle, Mirskle offers you Rose Incense. Say yes — it raises your Pokémon’s Special Defense for the fight.
  • Clear the fog if you keep missing. A Sandstorm or Hail from your own team removes the 40% accuracy drop.
  • Watch for Sleep Powder on higher difficulties — bring an Awakening or two.

FAQ

What level should I be for Mirskle in Pokémon Unbound?
Mirskle’s team ranges from Lv. 15–16 on Vanilla and Lv. 18–21 on Difficult, with higher-level teams on Expert and Insane. Type advantages are especially useful because of the Gym’s fog and Mirskle’s Fairy, Grass, and Poison Pokémon.
Does the fog affect my Pokémon too?
Yes. The 40% accuracy reduction affects all Pokémon in the Gym, including yours. You can disable the fog with Defog, or use weather-changing moves such as Sandstorm or Hail to clear it.
Should I accept the Rose Incense in Pokémon Unbound?
Yes. Before the battle, Mirskle offers the Rose Incense. Accepting it raises your Pokémon’s Special Defense, which can help during the battle.
What’s the best counter to Mirskle?
Fire, Flying, Steel, Poison, and Ice-type attacks can be effective against different members of Mirskle’s team. Pikipek from Route 2 is an easy early option because its Flying-type moves are effective against Gloom and Weedle.
